What Life Pattern Journal keeps and what we receive. The short answer is that your journal stays with you.
The short version
Entries stay on your phone. Nothing you write is uploaded.
No account and no sign up. No tracking inside the app.
The waiting list takes one email address. One email now to confirm it. Then two more, ever.
Your journal
Entries are stored on your phone, inside the app. There is no account and no sign up. The app never asks who you are.
Nothing you write is uploaded. No entry, tag, dial position, or note ever reaches us. The pattern analysis runs on the phone too, over your own log, and day to day the app works offline.
One plain limit: the app is as private as the phone it sits on. Anyone who can open your phone can open the app. The phone’s screen lock is the door.
Export files
You can export your journal as a file. From then on it is an ordinary file. Save it to a cloud drive or mail it to yourself, and it sits under that service’s rules, not this page. Where you put it decides who can reach it.
The waiting list
The form on this site collects one thing: an email address. We also keep the date you joined. No name, no phone number.
One email goes out straight away, asking you to confirm the address. Nothing else is sent until you do. After that the address is there for two more emails, ever. One when the beta opens. One when the app launches. We do not sell the list, share it, or use it for anything past those three.
Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. Opening it takes your address off the list, and nothing more is sent to it. You do not have to type the address or give a reason.
You can also write to contact@lifepatternjournal.app from the address you joined with, and we will delete it. Deleted means deleted, not archived.
This website
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ad scripts.
Serving a page leaves the ordinary traces any web server sees, such as an IP address on a request. We use those records only to keep the site running, and we build nothing from them.
Eighteen and over
The app and the waiting list are for adults, 18 and over.
Changes
If this page changes, the date under the title changes with it. The list does not get extra mail about it; the confirmation and the two that follow it are the whole arrangement.
