Life is coming from you and not at you.
Timothée Chalamet
Your problems repeat. This shows you the loop.
Log how the day went in twenty seconds. After a few weeks it shows you what you kept doing in the days before things went wrong, and asks one question: what do you think is behind this? You answer. Looking at yourself honestly, with evidence, is the part that takes time. This is for that part.
How it works
Log your day
Two dials, a few tags, a line about the day. About twenty seconds.
Keep going for a few weeks
No streaks, no reminders, no run to keep alive.
It looks for loops
What you kept doing in the days before things went wrong, and how often. On your phone.
It asks you one question
What do you think is behind this? You answer in your own words. The app never answers for you.
What it gives you back
One sentence, and everything behind it.
Tap the sentence and you get the six months behind it. Every mark is a day you logged. Tap a mark to read that day. Then write what you think is behind it, in your own words. The app keeps your answer next to the pattern and never writes one for you.
How sure it is
Three levels: early signal, looks real, consistent.
What it found
What came before what, and how many days apart.
What it is built on
How many days it looked at, and over what period.
Your call
Hide it for a month, or tell it the finding is wrong.
Your journal never leaves your phone.
Your entries stay on your device. No account and no sign up.
Questions
How long before it finds something?
A few weeks of logging. It needs enough days to compare before it can say anything.
Will it be a subscription?
No. One payment, and journaling stays free. The price isn't set yet.
Is this therapy?
No. It's a journaling app. It doesn't chat with you and it doesn't give advice.
Can it tell me why something happened?
It shows you what leads to what, and how big the gap is. That is the part you cannot see from inside your own week. The why is yours to work out, and it hands you every day behind the finding so you can.
Do I have to write?
Yes, a line about the day. It doesn't need to be long. The dials and tags carry the rest.
Can I get my journal out?
Yes. Export the whole thing to one file whenever you want, and bring it back in the same way.
